Teresa Menendez Hood, MD, FACC, FHRS

Dr. Menendez Hood is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. She specializes in cardiac arrhythmias and received her electrophysiology training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. She joined North Texas Heart Center in 1991. She graduated from the University of Texas and received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas. In the past, Dr. Menendez Hood served as the Director of Electrophysiology for Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She performs EP studies, complex radio frequency ablation including atrial fibrillation ablations, as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implantation.
Dr. Menendez Hood has been named to the Best Doctors in Dallas and Texas Super Doctors many times during her career. She lives in Dallas with her husband Tom and their two children.
